21 acre small-holding with waterfall ponds, stream, river, pigs, sheep, cattle and chickens.
A retreat with a twist, we have a hand-poked tattoo artist coming along, hand-poking is a traditional form of tattooing that’s been around since the age of time. She’s a lovely conscious soul who would love the opportunity to create a small symbol that is significant and relevant for you. She will bring some example of symbols which I will post soon. If you do not want a hand poked tattoo then you will still receive a 20 minute head massage for you to release any tension.
Monday - 4pm arrival settle in before sitting down with a freshly cooked healthy vegan meal, a little exploration of the area and a nice relaxing meditation and Yoga session.
Tuesday - 6.45am Meditation

(optional) 8.10am setting off to climb mount snowdon on the
Route: Watkin Path, 13 km’s 1000m Ascent.
Time: 6 – 8hours (group ascent including lunch stops)
We will follow the Watkin Path from Pont Bethania car park in Nant Gwynant to Snowdon Summit. This is a very scenic route up the largest mountain in the Snowdonia National Park. The route begins by winding through beautiful Ancient Oak woodland before joining old mine and quarry roads leading us past relics of the Cwm Y Llan or south Snowdon quarry workings. From here the path steepens as we approach the summit we will hopefully (fingers crossed for a clear day) be greeted with views across the other summits in the Snowdonia National Park.
All mountain activities are weather dependant; if the weather on the day isn’t suitable for Snowdon I will lead an alternative route that will be equally suitable and interesting. This may consist of a shortened version of this route should it be a wet day to avoid getting wet and cold for example.

- Free time/beach time - 3pm Wild swim (naked if you wish! Just dont scare the fish 😉 Lunch

All dishes will be Plant based meals with a balanced nutritional content. This will include freshly made juices and smoothies.

About your retreat Hosts -
I STARTED MY JOURNEY WITH YOGA 9 YEARS AGO AFTER I HAD ALREADY BEGUN A DEEP DOWN SEARCH FOR MORE OUT OF LIFE AND TRYING TO DISCOVER MY PURPOSE ON THIS EARTH. BEFORE THAT, I HAD BEEN WORKING IN THE FITNESS AND NUTRITION INDUSTRY FOR 4 YEARS, SO MY WORK IN THE WELL-BEING FIELD HAS DEVELOPED OVER 13 YEARS.
WITH MY PREVIOUS FITNESS (INCLUDING PERSONAL TRAINER) AND NUTRITION QUALIFICATIONS ADDED TO QUALIFYING AS A YOGA TEACHER 4 YEARS AGO, I GENUINELY BELIEVE THIS HAS ALL LED ME TO THE POINT WHERE I AM NOW. IN AUGUST 2015 I OPENED UP YOGABUDDY STUDIO & JUICE BAR WHICH I THROUGHLY ENJOYED RUNNING FOR A YEAR TO THEN SELLING IT OVER TO THE HEART YOGA SPACE SO I COULD GO OUT INTO THE WORLD AND OFFER RETREATS WORLDWIDE. IN MAY 2016 I COMPLETED A YOGA AND MINDFULNESS FOR ADDICTIONS COURSE AND TRAINED IN REIKI 1 & 2 AS I WANTED TO DEEPEN MY UNDERSTANDING ON HOW THESE ALTERNATIVE METHODS CAN CONTRIBUTE TO OUR HEALING. IN MARCH 2018 I TOOK MYSELF TO THE BIRTH PLACE OF YOGA TO RISHIKESH NORTH INDIA, THIS WAS TO HELP BRING ME CLOSER TO THE SOURCE AND WHAT IT CAN OFFER. I WAS FORTUNATE ENOUGH TO STAY IN A HARI KRISNA ASHRAM AND VISIT THE CAVES IN THE HIMALAYAS WHERE THE YOGIS HAVE BEEN PRACTICING FOR THOUSANDS OF YEARS. MY TIME THERE TAUGHT ME THAT YOGA IS SELF-REALISATION AND THAT THERE IS GREAT WISDOM WITHIN US.
I STRONGLY BELIEVE A COMMUNITY WORKING TOGETHER BRINGS GREAT JOY AND PURPOSE INTO OUR LIVES WHICH IS WHAT LED ME TO RUN THE WILD COW CONSCIOUS DANCE NIGHT EVENTS IN MILTON KEYNES WITH MY GOOD FRIEND AND WORK PARTNER AMY KIRKBRIDE.
IN MY EXPERIENCE AND WITH NOW SCIENCE SUPPORTING THIS, YOGA SUPPORTS THE HEALING OF THE BODY, THE MIND AND THE SPIRIT. THAT IT BRINGS A SENSE OF CONNECTION TO THE SELF AND TO A HIGHER POWER/HIGHER SELF AND THAT FROM THIS AWARENESS WE CAN START TO RECOVER FROM ILLNESSES, BOTH MENTALLY AND PHYSICALLY.
THE PHYSICAL PRACTICE IS VERY MUCH BASED ON A HATHA AND VINYASA APPROACH, BRINGING IN THE BALANCE OF THE YIN AND THE YANG. WHEN I TEACH I HELP YOU TO UNDERSTAND HOW THIS IS WORKING IN THE BODY, TO BRING IN A BETTER SENSE OF AWARENESS AND OBSERVATION TO THE SELF.
BY INCORPORATING KARMA YOGA INTO MY RETREATS I BELIEVE THIS WILL CREATE A WHOLENESS THAT WILL GIVE AND BRING LASTING BLESSINGS.
Estella's partner has come from a diverse background, growing up near Glasgow life as a young person was never dull. As Life developed he became a musician at the age of 16, singing and writing songs and continues to do so. Even though his band over the years took him through the era of sex, drugs and rock and roll, John now likes to get comfy on a cushion for some Meditation and quite often where he gets his highs from. John plans on taking a meditation course before the retreat which Im sure he would love to guide your through.
Both Estella & John have dedicated years to eating well and working with a plant base diet to enhance health and energy. This experience and knowledge will be what comes together to create you your meals.
