More about your yoga & meditation teacher Estella and the activities that will take place on your trip -

Hi. I am Estella and I invite you to join me on a very special retreat in Bali where I will be teaching yoga & meditation.

This long held dream is at last being realised in the stunning Mandala Village where you will enjoy beautiful accommodation, breath-taking views, nutritious food and a spacious yoga studio.

As this is such a special place I plan to harmonise our yoga experience by practicing Karma yoga within the community, as putting the philosophy into action feeds and nourishes the soul over and above what pleases the eye and body/mind synchronisation for the self.

I will be planning a beach clean up and other karma activities.

So expect healing, education and understanding of how the energy works within us and around us.

More about me and my teaching style:

I started my journey with yoga 8 years ago after I had already begun a deep down search for more out of life and trying to discover my purpose on this earth. Before that, I had been working in the fitness and nutrition industry for 4 years, so my work in the well-being field has developed over 12 years.

With my previous fitness and nutrition qualifications added to qualifying as a yoga teacher 4 years ago, I genuinely believe this has all led me to the point where I am now. Last year I completed a Yoga and Mindfulness in Addiction course and trained in Reiki 1 & 2 as I wanted to deepen my understanding on how these alternative methods can contribute to our healing. I Continue to search for the essence of what Yoga can bring and have been fortunate on my path to of met traditional Yogis in the Himalayas and been passed on a wisdom that I feel has been gifted to me so I can share with whoever joins me on this path of life.

I believe yoga supports the healing of the body, the mind and the spirit. That it brings a sense of connection to the self and to a higher power and that from this awareness we can start to recover from illnesses, both mentally and physically.

The physical practice is very much based on a Hatha and Vinyasa approach, bringing in the balance of the yin and the yang. When I teach I help the student to understand how this is working in the body, to bring in a better sense of awareness and observation to the self.

By incorporating Karma yoga into my retreats I believe this will create a wholeness that will give and bring lasting blessings.

Testimonials from other students that have experienced my classes or retreats;

Such a lovely Retreat Holiday with Estella Ramos Daily Yoga practise relaxing, energising, easy hard work fun calm, challenging and enlightening... full of the joys of working with such an experienced teacher who reminded me that Yoga is the bodies practice for meditation. After 15 years of classes Estella's sessions now in my top 5 🙂 Only wish you lived nearer
"Sofia from Mindfulness Algarve"

I spent a magical time a few months ago on a "Mindfulness Algarve" retreat at Quinta das Pedras in Salema. The fact it was 25 miles along the Western Algarve coast from where I live made it even better!
A major highlight of the retreat was Estella's yoga sessions. Morning yoga outdoors saluting the beautiful Algarvian sun rising is hard to beat. Estella has an aura of grace and serenity topped off by supportive positivity. She is a natural teacher and handled the very mixed range of abilities in our group with ease and professionalism.
Estella made a big impression on me and encouraged me to practice regularly and to embrace this stage of my life with a light heart.
I have already booked for next year at the same retreat and look forward to seeing Estella again and further benefit from her teaching.
